“Temple Mountain Spa” is a welcome retreat from the demands and stresses of daily life.  We offer a sensory and holistic feast for your body that is defined by our natural setting.

Our treatments incorporate the four essential elements of nature; the warm and soothing caress of pure oxygenated water; the healing touch of caring and expert hands; the sensation and aroma of exotic oils and lotions; and surroundings designed to be as tranquil and soothing as a virgin forest.

If you are seeking to unwind or to simply indulge in an hour or two of bliss, our spa is designed for privacy and serenity and to accommodate your wellness requirements.

Signature Treatments

Temple Mountain Escape – Begin your escape by unveiling a silken complexion with our uniquely effective and gentle body polish to leave skin petal-soft.  Continue your journey with the aromatic fragrance of the French countryside as you are cocooned in soothing Rose Clay extracted from the Provence region of France.  Drift away while your body absorbs the benefits of the hydrating body masque and expert hands massage your scalp.  Your escape culminates with an exotic Herbal Thai Stem Massage.  Herbal Stems are traditional massage tools used in Thailand since ancient times.  They are made of therapeutic natural herbs and essential oils wrapped in unbleached cotton and in combination with soothing moist heat, help release toxins, increase circulation, relax muscles, and work out painful knots.

Alpine Aroma-Detox Treatment – Breath deeply… relax… restore… refresh.  Your skin will be restored to radiance after a treatment with Exfoli-Sea Salt Glow.  This triple-layer exfoliating formula, that contains rich minerals and therapeutic Dead Sea Salts, gently and effectively increases circulation while eliminating accumulated residues and impurities.  Following this exfoliation, we use a curative mud to free your skin from the ravages of environmental stress and toxins. This mud, used for centuries by Europeans to improve texture and extract pore-clogging impurities that damage and weaken skin, is made from organic colloidal black freshwater silts. While cocooned in the wrap, enjoy a relaxing scalp massage and eye treatment.  We finish your treatment with an application of hydrating body butter.

Temple Mountain "Golden Spa" – Recharge the body with a blend of golden minerals and essential oils by fleur’s. Linger in the magic and delicate floral perfume of this heavenly face and body treatment designed to wrap you in “GOLD’.  Artemisia and Passionflower offer anti-oxidant and anti-free radical properties leaving the skin radiant and protected and your mind calm.  Your Golden Indulgence begins with a total body exfoliation followed by a hydrating body wrap, a relaxing massage and is complete with a touch of gold for your cheeks, lips and nails.  Your entire body will have a golden glow and you’ll feel like you’ve been touched by an angel!

Temple Mountain Time Defier – Escape…Step away from day-to-day cares and concerns and experience the delights of DARPHIN.  Enter a private cocoon of pampering and pleasure, dedicated to firming and toning from head to toe.  An uplifting experience for body and soul, this “youth renewal” treatment smoothes, tones and boosts skin’s firmness.  Your body will be cleansed, exfoliated, massaged, and then cocooned in a firming and toning body mask.  While your body is enveloped a Time Defying facial is performed including a stimulating deep tissue massage plus an extraordinary Firming Mask with visible anti-aging benefits.  This treatment is designed to elevate your spirit…beautify your face and body.

Temple Mountain Temptation – From the sublime to the exotic … our most effective treatment for smoothing, stimulating and detoxifying skin and body.  Potent mixtures of five French seaweeds submerge the body in pure marine actives to stimulate, firm and hydrate.  Also included are the nourishing, protecting and softening oils of Jojoba, Avocado, Peach and Sunflower.  As your body reaps the benefits of the wrap take pleasure in the exotic … Thai Stem Facial.  Our highly trained technicians will analyze your skin and determine whether you require a detoxifying, anti-aging or hydrating facial stems.  Close your eyes….aaaaah!!

Massage

Massage revives body and spirit and is an effective stress reducer.  All Temple Mountain Spa massages are tailored to meet your specific needs.  Our massage therapists consult with you prior to treatment to determine your sensitivity to massage pressure and depth, and to address the areas requiring particular attention.

Aromatherapy Massage – based on Swedish and lymphatic massage techniques. Using aromatic and therapeutic essential oils, this gentle and soothing massage encourages lymphatic drainage.  The holistic combination of touch and smell is very nourishing to the skin.

Sports Massage – treats specific sports related aches and syndromes.  Expect strong hands and a deep touch with both active and passive muscle stretching. This massage rehabilitates tired or aching muscles after a day in the mountains – summer or winter..

Swedish massage – light to medium touch is applied in a soothing circular pattern. This classic European massage increases circulation, tones and relieves muscle pain and tension.  The result is total relaxation.

Therapeutic Massage – a more intense massage which targets chronic tension in specific muscle groups. We recommend this massage for anyone with muscle or joint problems.

Thai Stem Massage – Herbal Stems are traditional massage tools used in Thailand since ancient times.  Like other forms of massage, they help release toxins, increase circulation, relax muscles, and work out painful knots.  Stem Massage differs because they combine soothing heat with therapeutic natural herbs and essential oils.  These healing oils and resins are absorbed into the blood stream through the epidermis and react with the body chemistry in a sympathetic and gentle way. The treatment combines traditional Thai Massage movements with deep pressure to release blocked energy, increasing awareness and vitality.

Maximum Massage – the ultimate indulgence. Combines a massage of your choice - Swedish, Therapeutic, Sports or Aromatherapy - with Hot Stones. Ladies’ Manicure & Pedicure

Mountain Meadow Manicure – our Temple Mountain Spa signature manicure is a relaxing way to beautify your hands.  It begins with an effervescent hand soak with minerals and brighteners. Cuticles and nails are treated and shaped; we then massage your hands and forearms with a beautiful exfoliant followed by a hydrating lotion.  This process stimulates cellular regeneration.  Next, we lock in the moisture with a paraffin treatment.  The treatment is complete with a polish application.

French Manicure (90 minutes)

Mountain Meadow Pedicure – Total foot revival is the objective of our Temple Mountain Spa signature pedicure.  We use Gehwol products – everything for the well-being of your feet – to soak, moisturize and massage your feet.  After soaking in an herbal bath, cuticles and calluses are treated and nails shaped. Lower legs are exfoliated and followed by a  relaxing massage, a moisturizing paraffin treatment and a polish application. You will feel like you are walking on clouds!

( comfort zone ) D-age – firming anti-aging treatment – A luxurious nourishing anti-aging treatment that includes massage from beginning to end.  A complete body exfoliation is followed by a warm serum wrap directed at aging skin and stretch marks.  A draining massage oil and rich nourishing D-Age body cream are massaged into the body leaving the skin silky smooth and beautifully fragrant.

( comfort zone ) Inner C – your private ocean – an exclusive thermal treatment especially for tired achy bodies.  Renew you energy with a full body exfoliation followed with a warm mineral mud wrap from the Monticelli springs in northern Italy.  Feel your muscles relax and tension drain away with scalp, neck and shoulder massage.  Inner C Body lotion is massaged onto the body for a light fresh finish.

Spa Policies

Age Requirement
Guests must be 16 years of age or older to utilize spa facilities and services.

Reservations
Call 403-522-3989 or 800-661-1586 to reserve your appointments.  Our spa staff will assist you in planning services and treatments.  To ensure you receive all the spa treatments of your choice at the time you wish, we recommend that you book all appointments in advance of your arrival.  Guests are encouraged to book at least two weeks in advance, especially during busy weekend and holiday periods. 

Cancellation Policy
If you must reschedule or cancel an a la carte appointment, please notify the spa 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the service.  Cancellation of multiple services also requires 24 hours notice.  Cancellation for group bookings requires 4 days notice.

Spa Hours: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Suggestions to Enhance Your Experience
A visit to Temple Mountain Spa is a commitment to your overall well-being and self-improvement.  To ensure you receive the maximum benefit and enjoyment from your time at the spa, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your first appointment.  This gives you a few moments to relax in the spa's serene environment, use the Jacuzzi or enjoy a steam bath before your treatment.  Should you arrive late, please understand that we cannot extend your time in order that our next guest will not be inconvenienced.
In consideration of other guests, we ask that all cellular phones be turned off while at the spa. 

Following any treatment, we recommend that you drink water and refrain from participating in vigorous activity for at least one hour.  Time in the Jacuzzi or Steam Room should be limited to 15 minutes.

Rights & Responsibilities
It is the responsibility of all guests receiving spa treatments to "communicate openly" with their therapist or esthetician before and throughout their treatments. This dialogue with the therapist should include, but not be limited to, special expectations, personal preferences, and/or possible concerns about how a treatment is proceeding.

Our spa employees have been hired for the diversity, breadth and depth of their knowledge of the healing arts. We value the many skills, talents and gifts they bring to Temple Mountain Spa. Because they practice a variety of ways to treat the human body — it is vitally important that you tell them about your preferences.

If you have a special preference such as a lighter or heavier touch, an extra blanket, etc…please do not hesitate to ask.  If you prefer that a therapist avoid certain parts of your body - feet, face, abdomen, scalp or hair for instance, please feel free to say so.  You also are obliged to inform your therapist about any health related conditions that could cause you discomfort or harm during the course of your treatment.  All of our services are designed to nurture, relax, restore and to meet your specific needs.  We welcome your input and feedback.

Your Health
We prefer that you inform us of any health conditions at the time of booking your appointment.  These include, but are not limited to, high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, recent surgeries, allergies or pregnancy.  Consumption of alcohol before, during or directly after spa treatments is not recommended.

Spa Attire
You will receive a robe and sandals to wear while visiting the spa.  You will also have the use of a locker for your personal belongings.  If you prefer, undergarments may be worn during treatments, but rest assured our therapists are highly trained in correct draping procedures for your complete comfort and privacy.
